The theme at the Mod Squad Challenge was to create using the Distress Ink Lifting technique. I inked-up a vintage image from Denami Designs using White Craft ink and clear embossed on white cardstock.
Since the them at Seize the Birthday is Bold & Bright, I applied three different red/pink Distress inks over my image using a very messy direct to paper application. Next I sprayed my inks several times with water to blend them while using a paper towel to lift some of the color as I worked. Lastly, I splattered ink over the entire image to do more lifting of the color. I love the cool watercolory effect.
A black paper mat and a few sequins, and this card was finished.
LOVE what you have created! This is bold and bright and beautiful! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Mod Squad Challenge Donna, Challenge Host.
