This week at Jingle Belles, we're bringing you a Photo to inspire your designs (Source: Inspired by Charm)
Sometimes (like this week) I take a pretty literalist take on an inspiration photo. I used four shades of Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple, Broken China and Mustard Seed) to ink a piece of white cardstock, overlapping the inks to create the other rainbow hues.
Next I sprinkled my tree liberally with water to create a bit of bokeh effect and then I used Eyelet Outlet Clear Adhesive Swirl Bling to decorate it with lots of twinkling lights and a clear square gem for the *star*.
Using this week's Paper Players Sketch, I added a woodgrain panel to bring in the color and texture from the shades and island int he photo, and then I finished with a sticker sentiment.
Oh my goodness! Your rainbow tree is gorgeous especially against the rustic woodgrain paper--fabulous! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
