Sympathy Cards are the one type of card I always like to have on hand ... because when you need one you seldom feel like making one. Unfortunately, my need has outpaced my stash, so I had to make one tonight. I was really struggling with an idea until I saw the inspiration photo at The Challenge.
I remembered my gorgeous Lage Peony 2 Set from The Ton. I stamped the bloom alternating Doll Pink and Persimmon around the edge of my card.
Then I added a black sentiment & black card base to pull in the contrast of the vase. Very clean & simple ... and mailable. So sorry that I need it, but hopefully it will send comfort across the miles.
Wow, this is CAS perfection, Stephanie! I need this stamp set! Hugs! xo

So sorry that you need a sympathy card, but this is beautiful and I'm sure it'll bring comfort to the recipient. I'm the same way, you never want to make them when you need them!
