The theme at Shopping our Stash is to make a card inspired by a book. The theme at Make My Monday is to use your favorite or newest stamp (my newest stamps are Party Monsters from Taylored Expressions). And ... this is the Masculine Inspiration Photo at The Challenge.
And when you combine all three, you get this (doesn't his googly eye remind you of the headlight).
I've always had a *thing* for Monsters ... and when my sister was little, one of my favorite books to read her was The Monster at the End of this Book. Since it was a book-theme, I used a page from an old Alice in Wonderland paperback for the panel on my card.
Doesn't my Monster look like he would be Grover's friend.
The layout is the Sketch from the Paper Players.
How fun is this? I love your monster, and he would be a perfect friend for Grover, I agree! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week..always fun to see your cards in the gallery!

That is a fantastic book choice!! My younger brother had that one too!
Love your monster, I think he and Grover would be fast friends!
Thanks for playing along with the SHOPPING OUR STASH crew for our "Inspired by a Book" challenge.

I love this Stephanie! That monster is absolutely adorable, and could definitely be a pal of Grover's! Great idea to use a portion of Alice too. What a fun, fun card!!

This is just too cute! And, I have to admit that The Monster at the End of This Book was one of my favorites as a child. I loved sharing it with my kindergarten class last year. Thanks for joining us at The Challenge!
