As I've mentioned before, I love being able to make cards that are personalized for each recipient. However, sometimes (like tonight) I love making cards just to amuse myself.
When I saw this week's Muse Challenge Card, I knew immediately what I wanted to do.
I swapped the Pandas for Yetis and made a goofy holiday card that made me laugh out-loud (yes, I'm easily amused).
The Yetis and bubble sentiment are from Hero Arts Clearly Kelly Yeti Stamp & Cut. The typed sentiment is from Hero Arts Get Merry!
I'm also linking-up at the Hero Arts Holiday Cardmaking Challenge ... I love this one so much, I may have to make it in other color combinations ... purple yetis anyone?
And to celebrate the joy of amusing oneself, I have a Medium Flat Rate Box completely filled with stamp sets (including some Hero Arts), papers and embellishments to go to the home of one lucky reader.
All you have to do is leave a comment (and make sure I have an e-mail address to reach you) telling me your favorite thing about autumn. I'll draw one winner on Friday night and put your goodies in the mail.
HA! This made me laugh out loud! Love this guy and the energy and joy coming from this card! So glad you joined us at Muse this week, Stef!

I love your sense of humor! Keep it forever. I'd love to have a box of goodies as I'm in the process of helping create a young crafter now. I met her mom at Michael's recently when she was looking to buy a couple items to keep her daughter entertained, and she asked me a few questions. I gave Grace a small box of goodies to help her get going, and oh what fun! terriavidreader at yahoo you know the rest!

Purple yetis... Oh YES!!! He is so fun! I have him in slippers. I don't really get fall weather here in SoFL, but my favorite fall thing is pumpkin pie. I can eat it ALL the time :)

YETI AGAIN!!!!! :) :) :) that is beyond awesome! (of course i'm weird too as you know, but in some ways, friendship is kinda the art of finding ppl who are the same variety of weird as we are, right?!) ♥♥♥ plus bonus points for the yeti doing cartwheels... not something we see celebrated in enough cards!!! :)

This is super cute! I love the Yeti! My favorite thing about autumn is when I'm walking my dog, he likes crunching through the leaves. He will choose to walk in the deepest leaves making as much noise as possible. He's the best little dog in the world & he's my fav year round!
