Today's SplitcoastStampers Inspiration Challenge comes from a Pinterest Board for Drinks. I chose this refreshing Blackberry Mint Cucumber Gin Spritzer as my inspiration. I loved how the colors moved from dark at the bottom to light at the top of the glass ... I also loved the pop of green with the purpley blue hues.
My background was created using Color Burst Water Color Powders and a floral stencil on a vintage dictionary page. After it dried, I added stamps from Finnabair's Don't Forget to Fly (this is my first time buying this brand of stamps ... they are stunning and so reasonably priced for the large number of stamps).
My woman sort of faded into my background, so I used a white Sharpie marker to create a dotted frame around her head. I stamped the sentiments from the set onto the margins of the dictionary page. I also paper pieced a butterfly from a scrap of text as well.
I finished with a textured green mat that reminded me of the mint leaves as well as a 3-D butterfly sticker and a few sequins.
This is amazing!!

LOVE it! You used your Color Burst powders, eh? Maybe I'll keep mine and continue to play with them, then.
