Making an anniversary card was on my list for the weekend ... so inspired by the Curtain Call Challenge, I broke out some of my hoarded Dear Lizzy Mason Jar Paper.
I loved the text in two of the jars on this row, so I let that be my focal image.
For the third jar I added a big bloom inspired by the picture. I finished with a long-ago-Michael's-$1 bin Happy Anniversary stamp that I will always keep because I just love the font. I used some coordinated water-colory dots paper for the background.
On the list of cards I need to replenish in my stash are Baby cards. I love the Onesie Die Cut from Top Dog Dies ... it's a great way to use some of those busier designer papers.
I used this week's My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge and added the Spotlight Sentiments Congratulations stamped in one of my perfect MFT Inks ... Spearmint. It's so hard to find a perfect minty green.
Instead of a circle, I die cut two little Little B safety pins to anchor my sentiment.
I repeated the same design (because when you're on a roll, go with it), this time using a little piece of rubber ducky flair for the circle sketch element.
As Clean and Simple as Can Be is the theme at A Blog Named Hero, which is perfect for a masculine birthday card (and Cards for Males at Just Add Ink).
I pulled out a tool box die cut and combined it with a Hero Arts Happy Stamp & Cut. The sketch is from Pals Paper Arts.
I was thrilled to be the Queen of Snark for their fun Bonus Challenge.
As my prize, I am guest designing for today's challenge ... I is for Image Only.
I knew what sentiment I wanted to use on the inside ... so I found a Dance Party digital image to work on the front.

We're still celebrating all things Postal at Jingle Belles. I found some postage stamp die cuts in the clearance bin on my crafty adventures last week, so I decided to make my own postage stamp.
I also found these rockin' googlie eyed Christmas Owls ... I'd buy a stamp with Oliver the Red Nosed Christmas Owl ... wouldn't you.
With all of my layers, I'm joining the Layer it On Me Challenge at Shopping Our Stash. Sentiment is an SRM Sticker.
I had my annual eye exam this afternoon ... which included having my eyes dilated. Unfortunately, it takes hours for my pupils to return to normal, so since I am creating cards while I am visually impaired and wearing sunglasses (nothing keeps a determined crafter down) ... I decided to keep it simple tonight.
It's the 200th Sketch Celebration at Freshly Made Sketches, so I thought I would join the party.
I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to feature some new BasicGrey Soleil papers that arrived in the mail today.
The current them at A Blog Named Hero is Simple as Can Be, so I combined some Alphabet Thickers with stamps from Hero Arts It's Your Day.
Since I liked the contrast of black letters with the patterned paper, I decided to use a MFT Thanks Die Cut from my stash, but since it was wider than my card, I turned the sketch on its side.

Have you checked-out Kath's new blog Hip & Hooray? My card I made tonight was inspired by her Tuesday's Take Photo.
I went on a scavenger hunt through my supplies grabbing anything that *felt* like the photo. Then I had lots of fun layering on chipboard, sequins, gems and stickers to capture the whimsical floral feel.
How can you not be #Happy when you look at this fun design.
The current AEI♥U Challenge at Avery Elle is embossing. I emboss my sentiments on almost every card I make because I like the way the embossing makes them pop and adds a bit of subtle texture.
I decided to break out my new Brushed Stamp set and a Purple Ombre Ink pad.
After I stamped all of the purple inky bits, I let it dry and then stamped my sentiment in black ink and clear embossed ... look how sharp the embossed sentiment looks. I finished with a few sparkly sequins using this week's CAS(E) this Sketch.
My sympathy card stash is once again depleted, so I decided to make another card for the Essentials by Ellen Mix-It-Up Challenge.
I stamped & die cut flowers from Essentials by Ellen Bohemian Garden and colored the centers with orange glitter pen. The floral paper is from Crate Paper's Random Vintage Collection and I stamped the Clearly Besotted Sentimental Type sentiment on the grid paper that was on the reverse side.
