What better way to start my first day of vacation than with some studio time. I started by taking a peek at the Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge ... which is none other than ... Starbucks. I chose this natural wood mug as my inspiration.
I thought about searching for my wood grain papers, but instead decided to try a little abstract water-coloring. I used three different paint colors on Kraft cardstock (something I'll have to do more often ... love the effect, especially with the autumn hues).
I was also the perfect opportunity to use one of my sentiment stamps from my new Kellie Stamps that arrived all the way from Australia (warning ... mine took 3 months to make the journey). I think this is another perfect card for the Show us your Snark Challenge at Shopping Your Stash & Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers.
My coffee cup is from My Favorite Things and the layout is The Crooked Stamper Sketch Challenge.
I'm also joining some of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoast Stampers and the Sweet Stamping Challenge where the theme is Anything But a Birthday.
Happy vacation!!
Love this card, perfectly snarky!! Thanks for joining the crew at Shopping Our Stash and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for our joint "Show Us Your Snark" challenge!!

I wasn't sure at first, but I might need those stamps. Three month? No problem!
Love the snark, and thanks for playing my Crooked Stamper Sketch Challenge!

This is PERFECT. I love your background /coffee sleeve technique, and I think I need that sentiment... although tea would be more accurate for me. The two people is about right. :D Thanks for joining the fun — again! — at our Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers/Shopping Our Stash bonus challenge!
