Another card for this week's Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge ... inspired by these cute little sled ornaments from Pendleton.
I made a little sled from woodgrain cardstock (inspired by my Christmas Sled Tag earlier this week). I scored the boards and used a Black Sharpie to draw the lines ... then I inked with red and brown inks.
My card request was for a masculine design that focused on the love of family for the holidays ... I didn't have any stamps that fit the bill, so I printed my sentiment on Ivory cardstock. The color inspiration comes from the Silent Night Neutrals at The Card Concept.
I decorated my sled with a die cut Prize Stag (this little guy is perfect for so many cards) and assembled the design using this week's Freshly Made Sketch.
I finished with a wrap of lawn fawn silver sparkle cord & a gem for the Rudolph's nose.
Your sled is so cool! And I love that you incorporated snowflakes and an iconic Rudolph image onto your fun Christmas card! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
