I also combined the colors from the October Color Palette Challenge, which I thought were perfect for an Autumn Design.

Spooky Scary Skeletons

Yes, I'm still cranking out Halloween cards this week, so i can get them in the mail (which is also the theme at The Corrosive Challenge Blog).

I picked-up som fun googlie-eyed skeletons at Michael's yesterday for 70% off (score), and they worked perfectly with my Halloween Collection from Hobby Lobby (another stop on the shopping spree).

The layout is this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch.

I'm also joining the Black & Orange (plus one) Color Challenge at The Pink Elephant.

Butterflies and a Bloom

This weekend's SplitCoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge is featuring VIETRI.  I chose this gorgeous Rustic Aqua Garden Planter with Flowers to inspire my design ... I love the colors ... and thought they would be perfect for a birthday card design.

I found some Aqua designer paper (with multiple shades of aqua like the vase) and then added a Chocolate flower from Maya Road.

I finished with a tiny sentiment and Prima Resist Canvas Butterflies inked with Chocolate Ink and attached with 3-D glue dots for dimension.

I'm Dreaming of a PINK Christmas

We're still celebrating *A PINK Christmas* this week at Jingle Belles (and donating $4 to Susan G. Koman for each pink holiday card that's linked-up).

My second card combines three different PINK designer papers (none of which are Christmas designs) and two PINK cardstocks with this week's Retro Sketch.

It's also Christmas at Clearly Besotted, so I used my Holiday Sentiments stamps with Watermelon Ink.

Love & Prayers

Tonight I wanted to make a card inspired by the October UNity {be inspired} Challenge.  I already had the sympathy stamp in teal left over from a prior project, so that's where I started, using both the sketch and the colors.

Not my best work, but I found a way to put make it work ... often the creating is as much about the process as the end result.

I'm also joining the Moxie Fab World Just Blocky Challenge since my entire card was created using *blocks* of colors (no soft lines except for the bloom).

Thankful

While I had my autumn papers and my glitter leaves on my studio table, I decided to make another card.  This one is for the Autumn Colors Challenge at AAA Cards.

My inspiration came from Lisa Arana's design at the Tag You're It! Challenge.

I love the greys with the brighter autumn hues ... as well as the paper tab at the top of her taga nd the angle cut sentiment.

More glitter leaves and another SRM Sticker Sentiment ... love that beautiful grey-brown background paper from Echo Park Reflections Fall.

 

Autumn Afternoon

The challenge at Shopping Our Stash is to create using Fall/Autumn Colors, which is perfect for this overcast autumn day in Iowa.

I combined papers from Echo Park's Reflections - Fall collection with this week's CAS(E) this Sketch.

With a border punch, felt glitter leaves and an SRM Sticker Sentiment, this card came together very quickly.

I'm In Your Corner

Red Carpet Studios is celebrating Movie Heroes ... My hero is April in Pieces of April who went outside her comfort zone to bring her family together for Thanksgiving ... as her mother is battling breast cancer.

The layout is from Mojo Monday ... and stamps are Paper Smooches Hope.

And the colors are from this week's colourQ.

Woot! Woot!

I wanted to create a card using the funky Non-Traditional Halloween Colors at ClearSnap.

I used this week's Freshly Made Sketch for my layout.

A little Woot! Woot! with some purple bats and sequins ... and a big gem for her eyeball.
