The theme at the CASology Challenge is ... Splatter ... pretty much an oxymoron for me, so pf course, I had to give it a try.
As I searched for inspiration, I saw the Cynthia Rowley outfit at the Runway Inspired Challenge, and the idea for my design started coming together in my head ... the real challenge was execution.
I won't lie ... it took me three different splatter attempts before I managed to finish my design without smearing the ink (because of course I'm not patient enough for it to dry completely). I heat set the final time, which helped with my impatience.
Strangely enough, I had no black ink spray, so I used a gorgeous bronze to splatter my background. Inspired by the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch, I kept my splatter on the right bottom quarter of my design.
The animals on the backdrop for the outfit inspired me to finally ink-up my Ori Kami set from AltENew ... I thought a pair of butterflies would make a perfect wedding card.
I finished with a few sequins to help with the flow of the overall design (and add a few complementary colors).
I'm also linking-up with Virginia's View Clean & Simple Challenge.
Score ... I pulled off a clean & simple design using splatter ... love it!
You totally pulled off this CAS with the splatter, Stephanie...(you should say that you did the splattering while you had your eyes closed! LOL). What a gorgeous inspired design. So glad that you join the fun over Virginia’s View Clean and Simple Challenge!

Great card! The splatter is perfect! I have the same patience issues when creating. Lol. Very hard for someone who uses a lot of liquid glass...lol!
