This week the Jingle Belles are joining the team at Shopping Our Stash for a joint prompt ... to make a card using products from your stash that are at least one year old.
My Shopping Your Stash Confession ... when I was packing my studio to move, it was amazing how many things I *discovered* in packing the process ... like these unmounted Christmas Card Stamps I purchased from Purple Birdie on Etsy in February 2011. Not only had these stamps never seen ink ... they had never even been mounted and cut apart.
Another confession ... I HATE mounting stamps ... so much so, that when I first discovered stamping, I chose my Stampin' Up demonstrator because she would mount my stamps for me (thanks Michelle).
So I cut-out and mounted the stamps (okay, so maybe I only cut out the one stamp I was going to use) and stamped it on a white cardstock scrap with Memento Northern Pine ink.
I remember thinking when I bought these stamps what quick cards they would make ... and I was right. A green scrap of cardstock frame, a kraft cardstock base, and some red holly berry gems, and a very mailable card is done.
I'm also joining Christmas in June at My Time to Craft ... and Anything Goes at Christmas Card Challenges.
ooooooooooh! i love, love, LOVE that stamp! my favorite thing about it is that it so totally DOESN'T look like a super-fast card... it looks like you stamped and masked and blended all day long! HOORAY for finding long lost stuff... kinda like CHRISTMAS in the middle of the year! ♥♥♥

Gorgeous card Stephanie! Love that stamp, the green and kraft are gorgeous together with a touch of red for the holly!

I love it! And it totally doesn't look like a fast card (those are my FAVE fast cards!) Also glad to know I'm not the only one who hates to mount stamps!
