We're celebrating Peace at Jingle Belles this week ... we're asking you to incorporate a Peace Symbol .. or the word PEACE into your design ... or you can create a card that evokes Peace for you (make sure you explain what makes it PEACEful to you).
I used one of the Sketches from Hero Arts for my PEACEful design.
I used Peace from Christmas Reindeer together with Winter Trees ... both stamped in Arctic Deep Colorbox Chalk In. In addition to my PEACE sentiment, I find the forest at night with the snowfalling to be one of the most peaceful places to be. I also find clean & simple monochromatic designs to be peaceful on the eyes (especially in a deep peaceful blue.
Remembe, it's never too early to start building your holiday card stash ... we hope you'l join us.
Your card is lovely and most definitely peaceful! I love how sounds outside are kind of muffled after a heavy snow.

I love this, Stef! That image is so striking and I love the navy blue you used.

"Whose woods these are I think I know, his house is in the village though. He will not see me stopping here to watch his woods fill up with snow." My all-time favorite poem. Robert Frost. This card reminded me of that poem. Filled with quiet peace, both the poem and your card. You've captured 'peace' perfectly. Bev

Beautiful! I agree, there is nothing more peaceful. Your card inspired mine - brought to mind the image I used right away.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Shanna :)
