I love Bo Bunny's Country Garden Collection ... it has such beautiful papers and vibrant colors. I used three pieces to create this card using this week's Retro Sketch.
The Challenge at A Blog Named Hero is to use Paper Piecing, For my accent butterfly from Hero Arts Antique Engravings Butterflies, I stamped it once on the background paper (for the antennae) and then again on a piece of the Orange Designer paper using India Ink.
I always find it easier to paper piece when I clear emboss (it gives me a clearer line for cutting). After I detail-cut my paper pieced butterfly, I sponged on a bit more orange ink on its wings for contrast before attaching to my card.
My sentiment is from my often-used With Sympathy set ... I finished with some yellow sequin flowers and tiny yellow gems.
Wonderful card! Love the garden papers and your paper pieced butterfly. :)
