When I saw these amazing cards that Amy made ... which were inspired by this fabulous card by Kim Jeffries ... I knew I had to give something similar a try. My favorite part ... they are all flat & easy to mail.
I started with some chocolate fabric tape in my stash that I had never been quite sure what to do with ... and this is the perfect answer. I added a row of wide postage stamp tape we found in NYC. The finishing touches are a bold SRM Sticker and a few wooden feathers from Leah my Secret Santa (who is also a lover of all things orange).
I knew I wanted to try some fun stitching like Amy did, but since I don't have a sewing machine set-up, I pulled out some SRM Sticker Stitches which worked perfectly. Since one of my washi tapes said *smile*, all I added was a little sticker at the bottom.
I think this one is my favorite ... I just love the contrast of the wide tape with the narrow ... more SRM Sticker Stitches and a bold sticker sentiment finish this design.
And finally I decided to combine navy and grey ... and when I found the grey spiderman tape, I turned it into a spiderman birthday card for a little guy ... and yes, more SRM Stickers.
If you give tis fun design idea a try, make sure you leave a comment, so I can check it out.
And there's still time to link-up your Favorites of 2013 post for a chance at some goodies (or just click over and check out the others).
These are ALL fabulous! Don't they make for quick cards? Love the postage washi...gorgeous stuff! My fav is the Thrive one!
Happy New Year!!!!

I love these too. I think the get well card is my favorite. I will try it but need to buy washi tape first, I only have a couple rolls.
