Honestly, there is nothing better than having all of my holiday cards finished in November and ready to go in the mail. This year I made enough, that I was even able to share some with my Dad for him to mail ... double score.
So we're getting Jingle Belles started early with our first Christmas card of 2014. The prompt is Something Old ... Something New, which gives you the perfect opportunity to break into some of those goodies Santa brought you ... friends gave you ... or maybe you bought for yourself :) ... and combine them with something that's been sitting in your stash way to long.
My new are the lovely reindeer & sentiment stickers that the talented Cyndie sent my way for the holidays. The old is that awesome Unity Silent Night stamp that had never seen ink (subway art is still one of my favorite designs). I also added some pure poppy ribbon with my favorite kraft cardstock. A few holly berry gems and I was done.
We sure hope you'll join us at Jingle Belles in 2014 ... and take back December, one holiday card at a time (and make sure you click-over and check out the awesome new Jingle Belles blog banner Lauren designed ... that girl has serious digi-skills).
It's also an Anything Goes Challenge at the Weekly Christmas Card Challenge.
January 1, what better day to start thinking about Christmas cards for 2014?? I love the idea of making them all year long! Great way to use up some stash!
Your card is gorgeous, love the kraft and the red together !

What a sweet card, Stephanie! LOVE that little deer! Festive Friday will be starting up by the end of the month, too...I'll need to be checking out some of these other Christmas card challenges to play along with this year! Wanted to tell you how happy I am to be designing along side you and the other gals at FUSION this year...Looking forward to it!!!
