I'm guest designing again today at A Blog Named Hero for their Dear Santa event.
Today's project is a Christmas Gift ... a set of magnets made from chipboard coasters. I started by stamping images from Hero Arts Four Framed Snowflakes in three colors of RangerArchival Ink - Cornflower Blue, Orange Blossom & Vermillion on a chipboard coaster that I then trimmed to a 1 3/4" square.
I cut a second piece of coaster and glued it to the back using a thin coat Collall Tacky Glue to give it more strength. Once the glue dried, I applied more ink to the edges.
I finished by attaching a magnet to the back & a coordinating gem to the center of each snowflake ... I love using a snow theme for Christmas gifts, because then they can stay on display long after the holiday (in Iowa ... the snow keeps falling for a long, long time).
These fit nicely inside a small metal tin for gift-giving. Make sure you head on over to A Blog Named Hero for many more gift ideas.
I'm also joining Make My Monday where the theme is Anything But a Card - Christmas Style.
These turned out fabulous. The colors are so wonderful!

Neat winter magnets in great colors. Can't wait to buzz over to the HA blog to see what other fun things they have to show. :)
