Another of the Stamp It! Card Challenges is to Stamp on Cork. I love DCWV's sheets of adhesive cork ... they make it so easy.
I stamped my bear from Hero Arts New Baby in India ink on Cork and then used markers to add some color. I finished with some gems for his eyes.
The Sketch is from Crazy for CAS and the sentiment is an SRM Fancy Baby Sticker.
While I was working on my baby card, I was thinking about my next challenge card for the Stamp It! Challenges ... to create a flower using a non-flower stamp ... can you guess what I used for my flower?
I stamped the top of the baby carriage 5 times on designer paper and then cut out the top section of the image and adhered it in the center with a 3-D glue dot ... I trimmed between each *petal* for a bit more dimension. I finished with a thank you sentiment and a few fancy flourises.
Two really sweet cards. Love the stamped cork, and the strips of paper behind it. And your flower...WOW! Darn clever, I must say! Way to see a stamp in a different way. What great inspiration for all of us out here to do the same. Wonderful cards. Bev
