I've always loved navy ... so I had to sneak in a quick card for this week's Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger ... I'm Craving Navy ... inspired by this lovely picture.
I loved the block of navy from the dresser in the center of the picture together wtih all of the calming ivory and touches of kraft, so that's what I incorporated in to my design using the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.
I embossed navy Core'dinations cardstock & sanded gently ... the pattern reminded me of the window in the top right of the picture as well as the block pattern in the rug. I also added tiny bits of square grey bling to the top left to bring in the element of the black & white photos on the shelf. I finished with a simple block Thanks sentiment that works well with the CAS design.
I'm also joining Crazy for CAS where they're making CAS cards with embossing this week.
Really nice card! Love the blue tones. Thanks for joining us with CfC!
