This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from wonderful world of Emma Bridgewater. Emma and her husband Matthew contribute to the designs for their hand-decorated pottery and kitchen items that are produced in their factory in Stoke-on-Trent where they are the sixth largest employer of potters in the area. They describe themselves as a British Company selling British products.
My card was inspired by this Skyline Tea Towel.
I loved the Navy on Cream with pops of Red, so that is what I incorporated into my skyline.
I stamped Hero Arts Newspaper Skyline twice in Cobolt Archival Ink and trimmed to 8" x 4" before adding a sentiment from My Words and 5 punched hearts. I'm also joining the Stamp Your Story Challenge at Hero Arts.
I hope you find inspiration.
What a great card! Love your use of cobalt rather than gray or black here. Those little red hearts are just the right embellie too. Fantastic!
