Ugliest Card Ever

Suzanne at The Card Yard suggested that we Celebrate our ... Ugliest Card Ever.

I had a fun time wandering through my blog history ... and honestly had quite a few finalists for my blog post ... but finally went with this beauty from December 2008 ... seriously what was I thinking.

When I showed my husband ... he said ... do you think it could be any busier?  Apparently I had a serious case of pattern overload with this design.  I mention in my original blog post that I really didn't do much planning as I worked through a Hero Arts sketch ... yeah, no surprise there.  The good news is that with passion and practice ... I have improved ... although every once in a while a few still wind up in the trash.

I agree! You've "come a long way baby!" Hee! I'm sure, however, the mix and and match of color/ pattern/sketch, etc. were spot-on back then. :)
