When I saw the Use 10 Different Embellishments Challenge at the Moxie Fab World Blog I thought ... no problem ... my embellishment inventory is tremendous. Since many of my embellishments are feminine (girly buttons, flowers, etc.) I decided to make the challenge a bit more of a stretch (at least for me) and create a masculine design.
I started with some awesome Graffiti papers from KaiserCraft's Attitude! collection ... and let the embellishing begin.
- Black Adhesive Rhinestones
- Air Mail Sticker
- Black Thicker Parenthasis
- Foreign canceled postage stamp
- 3-D crown sticker (the crown on the stamp is my favorite part)
- 8 Colored Brads
- 2 Circular Paper Clips
- vintage Ticket
- UPC tag
- 2 Punched Hearts
I also threw in a few rub-ons (fearless, star & skateboarder) for good measure using this week's Retro Sketch. I love when a challenge pushes me outside my comfort zone ... and I love the results.
I'm also joining the Out With The Old Challenge at the Corrosive Challenge Blog ... since I"ve included several vintage elements in my design .. as well as paperclips, brads & rub-ons I've had for waaaaay to long ... feels good to finally see them included in a design.
Super fun results, graffiti and embellishments = art
