When I saw this week's Unscripted Sketch, I knew one of the gorgeous Penny Black Christmas at Dusk stickers I picked-up on my latest travels would be the perfect focal element ... I just had to rotate the sketch to work with the direction of the gorgeous ornaments.
I went looking in my Christmas paper to coordinate with the stickers, but ended-up using Bo Bunny's Apple Cider Paper, an autumn collection. I loved how it pulled out the deep dusky oranges from the sticker design. I added a tiny ivory frame around the sticker for a bit of contrast, and this card came together in a snap.
Speaking of gorgeous ornaments ... my Dad came to visit for Thanksgiving and we really enjoyed the beautiful holiday decorations at the National Czech & Slovak Museum.
We also had fun learning about the many stories of St. Nicholas ... including doing an etching & learning how to fold a Miter (hat).
WoW, Stephanie! Very non-traditional colors, but sooo pretty! Really like what you've done here! :) Bev
