The talented Tami Mayberry is hosting a Challenge for the 2nd Annual Hard Core Crop at Core'dinations ... her challenge is to create a 10-Minute Holiday Card.
My card came together very quickly using the coordinating Holly stamp and embossing folder from Hero Arts & Sizzix. I used Tim Holtz Distress Core'dinations cardstock as my base and stamped the holly image in a slightly darker Moss Green ink. Next, I lined-up the stamping in the embossing folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug for texture.
A few swipes with a foam sanding block exposed the core (I get mine at the hardware store) ... and then the embossed panel was mounted on a kraft cardstock base and a wrap of Putty Seam Binding for a bow.
To keep things quick and easy I used a Sticker Sentiment from SRM Stickers Happy Holiday set (it adhered perfectly on the seam binding). Since I still had a minute or so to go, I used a red copic marker to quickly add some color accents to the berries ... tada!
I'm also joining the Not Too Shabby Challenge at the Drunken Stampers & the Dry Embossing Challenge at Hero Arts.
this looks fabulous!

Fabulous card, I love it. Great idea for a quick card although I don't think I could do it that quick. Thanks for joining us at Drunken Stamper for the "not too shabby" challenge.
