While I've had a blast getting inky with the Stretch Your Stamps classes the last few weeks, I've missed just playing with paper. This afternoon I decided to create a card using the July Color Challenge at the Authentique blog.
I couldn't find any of their papers in my stash that featured Chocolate or Kiwi, so I combined cardstock in those shades with Authentique's Uncommon Collection which has Raspberry & Pink Lemonade.
I added a bit of chocolate ink to the edges of the Headlines Focal image. I have absolutely loved seeing all of the things Lauren has created with the Papaya Muse stickers I included with her birthday gift (this one even came to live with me), so I decided to break out one of mine to use on this card (yes, I split the sticker collection in half before I mailed them to her ... we share that way) ... love that fearless face. I finished with some leayered flowers & chocolate leaves. The layout is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch (number 250 ... wowza).
LIKE this card! Great colors, papers, interpretation of the sketch. :)
