Here are my Index Card a Day creations for this weekend.
June 8 ~ Faux Quilt
I punched one inch squares from the scraps of designer paper on my work table and created a faux quilt background. I couldn't stop listening to the song *Carry On* by the band Fun. today, so that was my anthem ... and the theme of my card.
June 9 ~ Chaos & Decorate the Corners
I combined two themes for this card. First, this was my version of chaos ... sort of how I felt with my torn-apart-house ... so I added a row of laughter to remind myself that sometimes when you're surrounded by chaos, all you can do is laugh. I also added some stamping to decorate the corners.
June 10 ~ Use all of your Blue art materials, Stripes, & Colors of Winter
I managed to combine three prompts in this design. I started by creating stripes using all of the blue ink pads I had at hand ... then the blues reminded me of winter, so I added stamped snowflakes.
You can check out the ICAD Flickr Gallery here ... and can join in the fun at any time.
