Lustrous Lace Wedding Cake

For this week's SplitCoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge we're celebrating the elegance of weddings at BHLDN.  I chose this Lustrous Lace Dress to inspire my design.

I used textured floral paper to create my wedding cake, and then adorned it with ivory pom pom trim and floral buttons

I intended to stamp & emboss my sentiment on the dark grey background, but decided the risk of failing after building my cake was too high, so I used some chipboard sticker sentiments instead.
