I apologize in advance for the Valentine overload ... I'm travling next week, so I'm trying to get them all finished this week.
Today's CPS Anniversary Celebration is Sketch 56 from March 2008.
And here's my sketch 56 card I made back in March 2008 ... still love it ... although I'm grateful I have a die cut to make that scalloped square instead of punching each one by hand.
It's fun taking a walk down card-making-sketch-card-memory-lane.
Another Kelly Panacci valentine ... this time using this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch.
Love the black with those pinks & reds.
Linda Beeson is the spotlight designer for the 5th Anniversary Celebration at CPS today. I made another quick & easy valentine card using Kelly Panacci papers.
I added a tiny piece of green bling to the center of my flower and called it good.

I love how the black makes the colors pop.
Tonight, we were re-watching Scott Pilgrim vs. The World ... and I was inspired to make a Rock Star card.
I used Inchies from Inkadinkado & an Outlines square sentiment stamped in India Ink and took my design inspiration from this image from Inspired By with orange, black and a clean graphic design.
And this week's CASE Study card with all of tha great white space and the contrast of the colors with the black sentiment.

It's the 5th Anniversary at Card Positioning Systems, one of my favorite sketch blogs.
Today's sketch challenge is revisiting Sketch 136. I used Kelly Panacci Valentine papers and embellishments.
Here's my Snowman Chill card that I made in October 2009 using this same sketch ... still love those colors.
The theme at the Photo Friday Challenge is shoes ... yeah, not so hard for me the queen of shoes.
This is a picture of my sister & me on The Plaza in Kansas City with our new shoes (because no trip is complete with out a new pair of shoes) ... Sanitas for me ... Sketchers for her.
This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge is visiting the Everything Turquoise. I chose this Rose Rush Rug to inspire my design.
I loved the graphic black and white design bordered by turquoise. I stamped Hero Arts Large Flower Pattern in Black and bordered with it a thin strip of black cardstock & turquoise designer paper from Prima's Madeline Collection.
To finish, I added a sentiment from Hero Arts Find Joy and some coordinating Memory Box turquoise pearls.

Our next prompt at Jingle Belles is to make a card inspired by our lovely new banner for 2012.
Our blog banner was made in PSE9 by the talented Lauren using paper, brushes and elements from an utterly gorgeous kit called artplay palette: retro holiday, by one of our favorite digital designers, anna aspnes, purchased at o'scraps; the fonts are deftone stylus, bohemian typewriter and impact--all free from dafont.com; and the divine sparkliness of the lettering is thanks to flergs' over the rainbow glitter layer style from scrapbook graphics, which Lauren learned how to use via this great tutorial (and I still need to learn how to use)!
For my first inspired card, I went with a slightly darker version of the color palette and some glittery jingle bells.
Papers are Basic Grey Jovial together with gold glitter Memory Box Jingle Bells. I added some EAD Designs Sweet Sweet Holiday Stickerz, a couple of punched flourishes & a gold brad to complete the design. The Sketch is this week's CardPatterns.
