They are celebrating Spring at the Basic Grey Challenge blog, so I pulled out my springy Euphoria collection to create a flower-filled birthday card.
I dyed my flowers with Hydrangea Glimmer Mist & Lavender Tea Memories Mist (a bit muddier than I was going for, but after several tries and very purple fingers, I finally just decided to go with it). I used colored pencils to add some highlights to my Hero Arts Hydrangea.
Since this week's twist on the Sweet Stop Sunday Sketch was winged creatures, I finished with a punched butterfly hovering over my flower.
This is so pretty!! I love the purple and your flower turned out beautiful.
