This card features one of my all time favorite Artistic Outpost images from the Snowy Woods plate ... I love the image, how it's framed, and the wonderful Robert Frost quote ... it just evokes such a feeling of the silent peace of a snowy night to me.
I read with sadness today that the Caardvarks blog has posted it's final challenge. Caardvarks was my very first design team ... I made wonderful life-long friends and have always been grateful for the opportunity to design with such a fabulous group, so I wanted to join in this Challenge.
The challenge is to make a monochromatic card, so I chose this color palette from the Corrosive Challenge Blog to make a Red & White Holiday design ... I think St. Nicholas looks good in red. The Sketch is this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch & papers are Basic Grey Jovaial and Basics with a Zva Creative Flourish and a little Tea Dye Distress Ink sponging to complete the design.
Beautiful monochromatic Holiday card, love the added flourishes.

Love this card! Who am I kidding - I pretty much love them all! This one is nice though - I love the quote from the poem and of course the image is perfect for it!
