For this week's SCS Inspiration Challenge, I fell in love with art work form Groovy Inclinations. My card is inspired by this wonderful piece entitled Maven in the Middle.
I loved it so much, I decided to take a literal approach to my design.
I began by stamping a Tree of PSX on a piece of Memory Box DP with Versamark and clear embossing. This tree is one of the very first rubber stamps I bought, and I still remember the magic when the store owner showed me how to use foil sheets to add beautiful fall color.
Next I sponged Grey and Charcoal ink over the entire piece of paper. I cut a circle from a piece of typing paper to use as a mask for my moon, and sponged it with Black.
I scored lines with my score-it and used a black Sharpie marker to color them. I used the same marker to create the black "berries" in the design. The sentiment in the upper-left corner is from A Muse.
I hope you find Inspiration.
WOW this is gorgeous
