I wanted to share some of the amazing cards I've received in the mail lately. When I get a hand-made card, it always reminds me of the fabulous details that are often missed in photographs. I love receiving art in the mail.
This amazing holiday card was from Charlene (LilLuvsStampin). I love the fabulous color combination and her wonderful grove of masked holiday trees (remember, you can always click through for an up close look at any pictures).
This holiday card is from my local stamping friend Laura. She's the one who took me to a crop night 9 years ago and got me seriously hooked on card making. I love the combination of papers and colors, the fun envelope fold (the image hooks into the half-circle punch below, and the fabulous addition of a button to one of my favorite holiday stamps.
This card was from my local friend Cheryl who has the most amazing taste in papers of anyone I know. It's a hand-made letterpress printed card from Cartesian Graphics. I love the small size and the wonderful effect of just two small squares of metallic fabric cut with pinking shears ... I think I'll be borrowing this concept for future designs.
This wonderful card was made by Judi Rose (jovialjudi) for my Featured Stamper day. She was inspired by this card for the Acacia Inspiration Challenge. I love these colors and the wonderful elegance of the white embossing ... so lovely.
This amazing card is from Michelle (SF9erFan) and was inspired by this card I made for Jacksonbelle. The details are just amazing ... she traced around the peach portions of the image with a glitter pen and it adds such amazing highlights. She also stitched around the card and stitched the beautiful buttons to the card ... and the tiny pearls are fantastic.
I love tiny sentiments ... and A Muse makes some of the best. Since I no longer have a local store that carries them, I placed an order directly from A Muse. Love these.
I'm off to start my day with a massage in a few hours ... and then will attempt to test drive some new cars in the snow and cold.
Thanks for sharing - beautiful cards indeed!!! Be careful driving in this weather!
