Sue's 52-Card Pick-Up Challenge for this week is a wonderful quote from a Robert Fulghum book that addresses the question ~ What is the Meaning of Life? For me, I think this quote from Theodore Roosevelt sums it up.
Meaning for me comes from doing what I can with what I've got right where I am. Sometimes it's easy to get overwhelmed by everything going on in the world around us. However, focusing on the differences you can make right in your own corner of the world always seems more doable.
This card was inspired by Karen Barber's Vintage Inspiration card she made for Inspiration Challenge 212. Karen is today's Featured Stamper at SCS. She's a die hard Inspiration Challenge participant, even when it forces her to push her creative envelope ... I love that. Obviously, however, I need to attend her bow tying school. The card features more of those yummy Jenni Bowlin mini papers and a very old sentiment from Alias Smith & Rowe.
At Michael's this week I found all sorts of yummy colors of adhesive pearls in their Recollections brand. The photo corners were made by punching a small square, then centering my 1" square punch around the opening, and cutting the resulting square in half.
Hi Steph! I'm so glad you play along with me every week! This is a great quote - I'll have to add it to my files - and a great card! I think your bow looks just fine, by the way...

That is really lovely Stef! What a sentiment to remind us that this is so true! Lovely soft background on the card, so pretty!
