I finally had some time today to work through the week of lessons from Jessica Sprague's Photo Editing Class. I'm so thrilled with the things I've learned. Here are some of my samples from the class.
The first is a picture of my adorable niece MiMi. This one incorporated PNG files.
The second picture uses a special set of Brushes that were included with the class materials.
The third class was vintage tinting. I couldn't find a very good picture in my stash for this technique, but I can certainly tell the difference in this picture of me and my Gran when I look at the original.
The fourth lesson was Clipping Masks, which was one of my favorites. I love the effect. This is my adorable nephew Kolby.
Lesson five combined multiple textures with a clipping mask. Lots of fun to be had with these.
The final lesson this week was to create an old school Through the Viewfinder (TTV) effect. I used a square vintage photo of my brother, me, and our cat Charmin for this one. Very fun.
Thank you for the helpful post/info. I didn't think much of taking that class, but after looking at your post, I'd like to. Great photos!!!

All I can say is "WOW!" Those techniques look extremely useful! Thanks for sharing! I love the shot of you and your "Gran" before and after! So cool! I immediately thought the one you altered looked, subtly artsy, and wondered "WHAT KIND OF SCRAPBOOK STORE HAS SUCH UNIQUE LIGHTING!!" {Duh!} Anyway, great post!
