My sympathy card stash is completely depleted, so I decided to make a few this morning with some of my favorite sympathy card sentiments from River City Rubber Works and DCWV Green Stack designer papers. I usually try to use a celestial theme for these sentiments, but I think the tree design works as well.
Dawn Lusk is the featured stamper at SCS and my first card is inspired by her. However, after I finished I realized it was a sketch card (which is a no-no for the challenge), and when I went back to do a second card, the SCS website was down. Dawn did, however, inspire me to pop-up the tree in the top right corner and add the ribbon below my sentiment.
The second card uses this week's sketch from Card Patterns with another great River City Rubber sentiment.
Don't forget you have until July 3rd to upload a new window card design at Caardvarks for a chance to win a $50 shopping spree from Purple Onion Designs.
Very pretty cards!! :)
Love the colors and the sentiments!
