I love the bright, bold, graphic designs from American Crafts. This paper is called Santa Monica from the Metropolitan collection.
I paired it with the Winter Cardinal from Memory Box and Autumn Leaves Swirls V.1by Rhonna Farrer for Laura's Sketch #18 at 2 Sketches 4 You. I added a strip of paper from American Crafts Elegant Formal collection along the bottom.
I colored the branch and cardinal's beak with Sakura glitter pens. I layered a Prima black silk bloom with a pink paper flower and a decorative brad to finish. The finished design is 4 1/4" square.
Thanks ladies for another wonderful sketch.
oh my! beautiful! I took part in the challenge too!
