This week's SCS Inspiration challenge was suggested by Lynn (pressed4time) who has collected Lang Calendars for almost 20 years. There are so many fabulous images to choose from for inspiration.
I chose this beautiful image from a calendar called Vintage Designs. I loved the layout and how the image combined different patterns into a cohesive design. I flipped the sketch to work with my image, which is a Penny Black sticker from a set called Wherever They Grow.
The papers are all from the Sprout Collection by Memory Box. The top panel was stamped with Inkadinkado's Trailing Blooms in Wisteria chalk ink. The sentiment is a Stampin' Up rub-on. The green satin ribbon is tied with a piece of lavender cotton jewelry cord.
I hope you find inspiration.
Ilove how you tied the knot with a string. The colouring is perfect and the papers are gorgeous! The thing that i love the most is the top most layer, the offwhitish one, it has some printing on it... looks lovely!
