Making one holiday card a week in 2008 was a great plan ... it really lessened the usually overwhelming December push to finish my cards. However, I still have several more I need to get done. I finished this card just under the deadline for Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch #64.
Core'dinations Cardstock was embossed with the Leafy Branch Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (I turned it over so the leaves would be embossed into the paper). Then I used my sanding block to bring out the design. I finished by painting Iced Lavender Shimmerz into the leaf impressions. I also painted Shimmerz on the Stampendous Peace Window dove and the leaves in her mouth.
The Martha Stewart Lattice Punch was topped with wired silver holiday ribbon (I attached the ribbon under the dove so it wouldn't show). Finally, a sentiment from Julee's Verve Visual Winter Wonder was punched with an oval at the bottom.
Thanks Julee for another great sketch.
Stephanie,
WOW! That is spectacular! As always, I am impressed with your talent.

I love this card, the colour is so nice and the sanding really brought out the embossed leafy branch!
