I loved this sketch posted at the So Sketchy! Blog, so i decided to use it for my next gift set.
I combined Hero Arts Collage Stamps, Basic Grey Boxer Papers and my new Nestabilities Labels die cuts (yes, I finally took the plunge). I'm still struggling with using the Nestabilities and my new Wizard, so if you have any tips or good on-line tutorials, I'd love to hear about them.
I've already managed to cut into my embossing plate, cut into my magnet plate, and get a sandwich stuck in the machine. Thankfully, it does seem to be getting easier.
On the first card I used the Hero Arts Gratitude Collage stamped in Blue Iris Chalk ink and clear embossed. I
used a maroon Sakura Sparkle Pen to color in the bloom. The circles are punched from the same designer paper as the frame, and dotted in the middle with the glitter pen.
I finished with two punched layered blooms and an adhesive gem center.
This card uses the same elements with a different background base and no coloring on the bloom.
The next two cards use the Hero Arts Live Well Collagestamped in Deep Green ColorBox Chalk ink and a Cuttlebug Die Cut for the corner element.
I love how die cutting these stamps provides an entirely different look.
The final card uses the same elements with a different background paper.
I love how this sketch has lots of interest, but the finished card design is still flat enough to mail with a single stamp (a requirement for all of my gift sets).
Stunning set Stef! I just saw them on the Hero Arts gallery too! Beautiful! You now have 4 entries into the December contest! Good luck!

I love your cards - the colors and patterns are fantastic. I just wanted to leave you a message here too. They feel fresh and modern to me.

I really love Asian cards and yours are no exception. They are gorgeous. The first two are such beautiful collages too! Thanks for stopping by my house too!
