Here are more fun Core'dinations creations for the Caardvarks Core Concepts Challenge.
Seriously ... there's $55 worth of this awesome paper up for grabs to the winner of the challenge ... what are you waiting for. All you have to do is upload a new card made using no designer paper to the Caardvarks Flickr Galleryby midnight December 20th.
This tag uses three shades of burnt sienna cardstock from the Core'dinations Nostalgia collection. I really love how the tones of color work so well together.
Strips were torn and layered starting at the top. The Paper Inspiration Thanks was stamped in Burnt Sienna, clear embossed, and the edges were torn (love the cool effect fo the torn frame). The top of the tag is three layered circles with a slot punch opening.
Another fun card combining three shades of the Nostalgia collection. I really love the warmth of the purple colors.
This card combines Impression Obsession Thinking of You, Savvy Stamps Heart Flower Pot and; a Martha Stewart border punch
The heart is colored with a clear glitter pen for a little sparkle
Core'dinations Black Magic cardstock was folded to make the card base. The Martha Stewart lattice edge was punched along the front. A second lattice edge was punched from a separate piece of cardstock and attached above (with the reverse of the paper behind it).
A square of the same cardstock was scored 1/2 inch from each edge and sanded to make a frame.
The Sizzix Polka Dot Gift was die cut from two shades of Core'dinations cardstock, cut apart, and reassembled with adhesive gems. The sentiment is from Rubber Soul.
The card was made by folding Core'dinations Black Magic cardstock and tearing away part of the front of the card to reveal the color of the core. The remainingpart of the front panel was embossed with the Cuttlebug d'vine swirl folder (I used the folder upside down so that the swirls remain dark when sanding).
Her Brain by River City Rubber Works was stamped in black ink on the inside of the card and clear embossed. Black Ribbon was tied around the front panel of the card.
Thanks again to Core'dinations for sharing all of this great paper with the Caardvarks Design Team ... check it out ... you're going to love it.
