Kristina Werner did something a bit different this week by posting a sketch challenge with her Make a Card Monday sketch.
Since my Basic Grey Euphoria DP was still on my work table, I decided to continue using it. I also knew I wanted some bold white chipboard letters for my sentiment.
My finished card is 3 3/4" x 6 1/4". To make my photo corners, I punched a circle and then punched a square over the circle. The resulting shape was cut in half for the corners.
I layered four different kinds of flowers. The purple flower is made from punching stiffened felt with my flower punch ... another shout out to Allison's All Felt Up! challenge ... and the top small purple blooms is mylar from Creative Impressions.
I really love how the white looks with these fun bright colors. ... and you can never have enough faith.
Love those photo corners...a neat idea for mixing it up! How did you find the stiffened felt with the punch? I am gonna play when I get home but I will have to see if it works or not! Great job with Kristina's sketch too!
