Sharon's Simply Stamped challenge this week is color blocking, which is a technique I love to use. One of my favorite techniques is to use a variety of DP's from the same collection or family. This card features two-sided cardstock from Scenic Route's Charlotte collection.
The card also uses a PageMaps/Caardvarks sketch that I decided to revisit. However, rather than stamping simply, I simply rubbed a rub-on sentiment (which seems to provide a stronger contrast for me when I have a very visually busy card like this one).
The layered flower element is punched from the DP. I sponged around the scalloped flower to provide a little depth and hide those tiny bits of white core that can show when punching.
Such a beautiful card Marianne!!! Love the rubons!

Love this card. I have the perfect set of coordinating scraps on my desk right now that will work well with this design. Off to do some work.
