Sleep is calling, but sometimes you just have to stay up a bit longer and create.
Kristina posted her Color Inspiration #7 ... beautiful bedding from Restoration Hardware. I combined it with Beate's Weekend Sketch #45. I also broke out my new Romance of Spring set from Autumn Leaves (which Kristina enabled me to buy when I went shopping for her cute name tag stamp) combined with my Cornish Heritage Farms Pretty Pattern Backgrounder.
For a little more texture, I embossed the close to cocoa strip with the Cuttlebug textile embossing folder and sponged it with ColorBox Dark Brown ink. The center of the bloom is colored with prismacolor pencils.
Thanks to Kristina & Beate for the inspiration.
Wow! I'm all for staying up late...especially when you're able to create something this wonderful! I love the backgrounder and that stamp is awesome!
