This week's Kristina Werner Color Challenge #5 comes from Pottery Barn and combines the following colors.
Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa
I love the challenge of finding patterned paper that will work with color challenges. I have a ring with small rectangle samples of each of the SU colors, so I can hold it up to the papers until I find just the right ones.
And just the right one today was this great Periphery paper from Basic Grey. I love being able to feature elements from the paper in my card designs. Those brackets printed on the paper were perfect to enclose a Quotopia sentiment.
I added saffron ribbon layered with a thin blue and cocoa striped ribbon. I used cocoa waxed cotton jewelry cord to attach two silver heart charms.
Thanks Kristina for another fun color combination.
gotta love basic grey- but you take it to the next level!!
