This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge is fun bedding from Boodalee. I chose colors and patterns from the World in Teal for my inspiration.
I've been wanting to try a variation of the Cuttlebug Negative Effect that I saw on Deb Neerman's Blog. I inked my Bloom Dots Embossing Folder with Versamark ink and embossed teal cardstock. I used Ranger Silver Pearl EP to emboss. I love the fun effect and can't wait to try other color/EP combinations.
I inked a small flower with Colorbox Chalk Lime Pastel and off-stamped it once to soften the color. Over the blooms I stamped my Savvy sentiment in Charcoal.
I hope you find some inspiration.
Wow Stef..I really like the simplicity of this card. Those colors are great together....nice job on the challenge.

I haven't tried the ink with embossing technique yet - I love the cards you make using it. And you have a SERIOUS talent for using home decor as inspiration for cardmaking. Ever thought of writing a book? ;^)
