It's been a great Saturday in my world.
I went to Synergy Class at the gym (it's supposed to be a combination of yoga and pilates, but today it was lots of squats, crunches and weights ... and I survived) followed by a trip to Michael's where I found almost all of the supplies I need for my Inspired Event (can't believe it's going to be here so soon), and got them all for 30% off. After that, I stopped at Kohl's where I found great deals on some fun Spring clothes for me and my adorable nieces & nephews ... now the weather just needs to get warm enough to wear them.
I've been in my studio designing some graduation announcements, as well as finishing some design team projects. I've also been enjoying all of the great creations for today's inspiration challenge.
I decided to take a break and try out Jen's Sketch For You to Try with some yummy papers I received from Christine at Creative Journey (thanks so much). I also wanted to do Elizabeth's Get Well Challenge, since I couldn't remember the last time I had a get well card in my stash (as evidenced by the lack of Get Well sentiments in my collection).
This Wordsworth sentiment is a bit large for the sketch, but I think it still works. I added some K&Company adhesive gold gems (from Christmas clearance several years ago), sparkly ribbon and a few blooms to finish the design.
Hopefully this would cheer someone who is under the weather.
I also received my free card from the post office in the mail today. Make sure you get yours (it includes postage both ways).
ETA** And I see I finally broke the top 200 on the Stamping Top50 list ... thanks to all of you.
