This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge was suggested by Mothermark after she received this fabulous card from Petal Pusher that was inspired by an image on Mothermark's dresser (got all that?). The challenge is to make a card that is inspired by something in your home.
I enjoyed walking around my home looking at things with a different eye. I finally decided on this beautiful flower vase that we found in Mineral Point, Wisconsin on a weekend getaway (very fun little town). I loved the unique color combination, shape and texture.
I used my Cuttlebug Floral Fantasy Embossing folder and the negative effect Cuttlebug technique with Warm Violet ColorBox chalk ink on moss green textured cardstock. I added some knotted sheer ribbon and a chipboard sentiment from DCWV to finish the design.
I hope you find some inspiration in your home this weekend.
