My family plays games ... board games, yard games, card games ... we love to play games together. Every time we're together (which isn't very often since we're spread all over), we break out the games and have an evening full of laughter and merriment. When I saw the It's All in the Game challenge from Daring Cardmakers to incorporate a game piece in your card design, I knew i wanted to make a card for my family ... missing all of you.
I started with a game card and scoring sheet from Whodunit (it was in my goodie box from Lauren ... gotta remember to look through the game at the Goodwill). The sketch is from the March Pagemaps. Since the corners on the playing card were rounded, I decided to add Sharon's Simply Stamped Round Corners challenge into the mix as well.
I loved the aged paper of the scoring sheet. I stamped my sentiments on the reverse side of the sheet. I attached the card to the scoring sheet and then stamped Autumn Leaves swirls v.2 on the top and bottom of the card.
The definition is from Stampin' Up's new Define Your Life set and the tiny sentiment is from a tub from Hero Arts. Both were attached using dimensionals.
Play some games for me today gang ... miss you all.
Oh my gosh, this is totally awesome. Great card. Love it.

What a fantastic card and such a great reason behind you making it.
Here's to many more games nights with your family!
Thanks for taking part in my first dare.

This is such a fun card and I LOVE that you incorporated the game playing that your family enjoys into the card itself -- how cool!!! Also love the real playing card you incorporated!!! A very cool project -- so glad you could play - thanks!!!
