We had a fun anniversary yesterday (thanks for all of your wonderful wishes). Today I'm back in my studio & I have so many challenge ideas floating around in my brain, and only so much time in my studio, so I decided to combine a few.
Laura (scrapnextras) is today's SCS Featured Stamper. I love her work, so it was a lot of fun to make a card inspired by one of her creations. I chose her Grateful Blooms card because I loved the different dimensions (my finished card is just over 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"). I stamped the blooms at the bottom and trimmed my card to fit. Here are all of the element details of my card.
I used this week's SCS color combination (soft sky, basic gray and white). I also added a metal Lasting Impressions sentiment for the Bringing it Back Challenge. We were supposed to use Making Memories metal, but I don't have any of that in my collection, and I think this metal sentiment may actually be older, so hopefully that's okay.
The metal sentiment and the tiny Jolee's bloom in the center of my flower (had to buy all of those when they clearanced them out) also work for this week's Why or Why challenge about all of those embellishments we just had to have, but have never used.
Thanks Laura for all of the challenge inspiration.
I love this Steph! Beautiful in blue and the sentiment is awesome! Funny that we can be so "challenged" with some of these items until we are challenged!

Stef...I love this card. The layers look so cool and these colors look great.
