Martha Stewart's Easter Workshop featured some cute Easter Egg cards, so I thought I would give them a try.
I had picked up these fun embossed frame cards on clearance at Target some time ago. They seemed perfect for some bright Easter fun. I opened up the card and used my creative memories oval cutter to cut the opening in the front of the card. I used my gridded cutting map to help center the oval.
I attached a scrap of Basic Grey paper to the inside of the card for my polka dot Easter egg. I finished with a Michael's $1 sentiment and a tiny paper bloom.
This one doesn't look much like an Easter Egg, but I loved how the butterfly on the DP looked in the frame. I added one of my favorite sentiments from Penny Black to finish this simple spring card.
I love backing windows cut like this. The butterfly is especially lovely in there!
